1310 nm Tunable External Cavity Laser Source

The tunable external cavity fiber laser for the 1300 nm band, with model number OETLS-300-1310, can perform continuous, mode-hope-free scanning over a 80 nm tuning range. The laser is controlled by a computer with a user-friendly interface through the USB port. The tuning speed, resolution and the scanning range can be easily set in the interface window. This compact, rugged laser provides high side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) and excellent linear wavelength-scanning, which is a cost-effective OEM solution for system integration applications as well as laboratory purposes.

The main windows of the interface look like Fig. 2, where user can easily control the device parameters (such as: resolution and tuning speed), set the target wavelength and scan (multiple or continuous) between two specified wavelengths. The device could also be completely re-calibrated by the user in the provided calibration window if necessary.
